INVITATION TO BID
Sealed bids for Street Sweeping will be received by the Village of Royal Palm Beach, Florida at the office of the Village Clerk, 1050 Royal Palm Beach Blvd., Royal Palm Beach, Florida 33411 up to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at which time they will be opened and read in public.
PROJECT: Street Sweeping
Project Description:
The purpose and intent of this “Invitation to Bid” is to obtain Street Sweeping Services for the fiscal year from October 1, 2009 and ending September 30, 2010. The Village Manager may renew the contract, at the same terms, conditions, and prices for two (2) consecutive terms of one (1) year (not to exceed a total of three (3) years) subject to vendor acceptance, satisfactory performance and determination that renewal will be in the best interest of the Village.
The envelope containing the bid shall be marked “STREET SWEEPING”. Specifications and documents may be picked up from the Village Clerk’s office as of Tuesday, September 8, 2009, between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. The Village further reserves the right to award the contract to that bidder whose proposal best complies with the bid specifications and will further the interests of the Village.
