REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
SEALED PROPOSAL
CULTURAL CENTER RENOVATIONS
Sealed proposals for The Cultural Center Renovations must be delivered to the Village Clerk’s Office, located at 1050 Royal Palm Beach Boulevard, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411, until 3:00 p.m. local time, on Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at which time they will be opened and read in public. The envelope containing the proposal must be sealed and plainly marked “Cultural Center Renovations”. Opening date: “Wednesday, July 29, 2009” on the face thereof. Specifications and documents may be picked up from the Village Clerk’s Office as of Monday, June 29, 2009 between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. The Village further reserves the right to award the contract to that proposer whose proposal best complies with the proposed specifications and will best further the interest of the Village or to cancel the RFP and re-advertise in the future. Proposals will be opened publicly and the names of the proposers responding to the solicitation will be read aloud. Proposals will then be sent to the Village appointed selection committee for evaluation. Award will be by means of a written agreement with the selected proposal. Proposer must submit three (3) copies of the finished proposal.
In accordance with F.S. 287.133 (2) (a), persons and affiliates who have been placed on the convicted vendor list may not submit proposals, contract with, or perform work (as a contractor, supplies, subcontractor or consultant) with any public entity (i.e. Village of Royal Palm Beach) in excess of Twenty-five thousand Dollars (or such other amount as may be hereafter established by the Florida Division of Purchasing in accordance with F.S. 287.017) for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list.
